Create the campaign

Log in at app.outboundengine.com
-
Click Campaigns from the left-hand column

Click Create near the top right
-
Select a campaign type from the drop-down menu

Newsletter (Recommended)

Give your campaign a name
-
Click CREATE to enter the Campaign Details
Note: Click DONE at the top right to return to the full list of Campaigns. You will now see your new campaign listed in the scheduled with a Draft status and indicated by a snowflake icon in the type column.
The campaign will not be sent if the status is Draft when the scheduled time passes.
Update the campaign

Log in at app.outboundengine.com

Click Campaigns from the left-hand column

Right-click on the custom campaign you would like to edit

Click Details from the drop-down menu

Update the following sections:
Details
-
Give your campaign a name: this field populates the URL that will lead to this campaign on your Website after it is sent
Schedule
-
Send Date
-
Send Time
Note: Recommended send times include TUES, WED, or THURS either first thing in the morning or right after lunch as we find these times result in better engagement. We also recommend scheduling your custom emails equally spaced between the newsletters that we are creating for you.
Select Recipients
Choose who to send this campaign to:

Select specific Tags

Select specific Contacts

Send to all contacts (Default)
Primary Content
-
Email subject line: will display in your contacts' inboxes

Headline: appears at the top of the email newsletter (like a title)

Content: information for the body of the email
- upload paragraphs, lists, images, hyperlinks, etc

V2 Campaign Images: banner image at the top of the newsletter
- recommended size = 800 X 420 pixels
Social Content
Schedule posts for Facebook and LinkedIn related to the content of your custom email. Populate each of the following fields:

Select a posting day

Select a posting time
-
Post
-
Link
Note: Click DONE at the top right to save changes along the way.
We recommend that you Preview the campaign before finalizing to make sure you are happy with the content and formatting.
Finalize the campaign

Log in at app.outboundengine.com
-
Click Campaigns from the left-hand column
-
Right-click on the custom campaign you would like to finalize
-
Click Details from the drop-down menu
-
Toggle the Campaign Status switch at the top right from DRAFT to READY (it will turn green)
-
click DONE at the top right to return to Campaigns
-
your custom campaign status will update to Scheduled
