The CAN-SPAM Act protects consumers’ email inboxes.
The act includes requirements that consumers have the ability to unsubscribe from mailing lists and that businesses marketing themselves may not use deceptive email subject lines.
If one of your email contacts unsubscribes from your mailing list, they will appear with an Inactive status in your OutboundEngine account.
