When you have more than a handful of contacts you would like to add, most customers prefer to email a spreadsheet or document to success@outboundengine.com and let us take care of the bulk upload. If you prefer, you can upload a spreadsheet yourself in Contacts.
From your desktop
Log in at app.outboundengine.com
Click Manage Contacts from the left-hand column
Click Add Contact(s) at the top right
Click Upload CSV and wait for the popup window
Download the Contact List Template
Update your spreadsheet to include the required headers, then save it as a .csv file
From your OutboundEngine page, click Browse and select your .csv file
Select from the dropdown menu the last time everyone on the list was emailed as a group
Select from the dropdown menu the source of this list
Click the Done button
Click Done at the top right to return to the full list of contacts
Note: To upload a file, it must be a spreadsheet saved in the format .csv. If you do not have Excel or a similar program on your computer, you can email us most types of files, or even a scanned copy of a handwritten contact list, and the Customer Success Team will upload those email contacts for you.
